Experience matters.
But so does understanding.
The Cardiovascular Intelligence Center is grounded in clinical experience, research, prevention, and a belief that your cardiovascular information becomes valuable when it is translated into meaningful understanding.
The most important cardiovascular event is the one that never happens.
Throughout my career as an interventional cardiologist, I have cared for patients with heart attacks, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and other serious cardiovascular conditions.
Those experiences reinforced the importance of looking earlier, understanding more, and helping you make informed decisions before disease changes your life.
Physician-led. Clinically experienced. Research-driven.
Dr. Mark East is an interventional cardiologist with more than two decades of clinical experience. His background includes advanced training at Duke University Medical Center, service as Chief Cardiology Fellow and Assistant Chief Medical Resident, advanced interventional cardiology and clinical research training, and participation as an investigator in more than 20 cardiovascular research studies.
Your health deserves context—not simply more information.
My role is to help you understand what your findings mean for you, place them into clinical context, and provide guidance as you decide what comes next.
